Church Ministry Statement:
Mission and Biblical Foundation
Purpose Statement
Our mission is to fulfill the call of Jesus Christ by:
-
Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people,
-
Making disciples and disciple-leaders,
-
Worshiping and glorifying God through the study of His Word,
-
Conducting fellowships,
-
Singing songs of praise, and
-
Applying His teachings in our Christian lives.
-
1. Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to All Men
Scriptural Basis:
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
— Mark 16:15
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
— Matthew 28:19
We are commissioned by Christ to proclaim the good news to every person, regardless of background, nationality, or status.
2. Make Disciples and Disciple-Leaders
Scriptural Basis:
“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”
— 2 Timothy 2:2
“Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.”
— Matthew 4:19
As part of our spiritual mission, we invest in others who will, in turn, become leaders and disciple-makers in Christ.
3. Worship and Glorify God by Studying His Word
Scriptural Basis:
“God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
— John 4:24
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
— 2 Timothy 3:16–17
We glorify God when we seek Him through the study of His Word and align our lives to His truth.
4. Conduct Fellowships
Scriptural Basis:
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”
— Acts 2:42
“Let us not give up meeting together... but encouraging one another.”
— Hebrews 10:24–25
Christian fellowship strengthens the body of Christ, fosters unity, and provides encouragement for faithful living.
5. Sing Praise Songs
Scriptural Basis:
“Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.”
— Psalm 100:2
“Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord.”
— Ephesians 5:19
Music is a powerful expression of our love and devotion to God, drawing the congregation into deeper worship.
6. Apply His Teachings in Our Christian Life
Scriptural Basis:
“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”
— James 1:22
“Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
— Luke 11:28
Our faith must be evident in how we live. The true measure of discipleship is obedience to Christ's teachings.
Conclusion
This mission statement is not just a declaration—it is a biblical mandate. As a church, we commit ourselves to preach, teach, worship, fellowship, praise, and live according to God’s Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit and grounded in Christ’s love.

Church Vision Statement:
Multiplying Disciples and Building Christ’s Church
Vision Statement
We are committed to multiplying disciples and disciple-leaders of Jesus Christ in every nation by:
-
Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ
-
Planting churches and ministries
-
Training disciple-leaders who will make more disciples and leaders
-
Helping all believers become living stones in the building of the Church, with Jesus Christ as the cornerstone
1. Multiply Disciples and Disciple-Leaders in Every Nation
Scriptural Basis:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
— Matthew 28:19
“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”
— 2 Timothy 2:2
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses... to the ends of the earth.”
— Acts 1:8
Jesus commands us not only to make converts but disciple-makers—those who can lead and train others across all nations.
2. Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Scriptural Basis:
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
— Mark 16:15
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes...”
— Romans 1:16
The Gospel is central to our mission. It is the message that saves, transforms, and multiplies.
3. Plant Many Churches and Ministries
Scriptural Basis:
“So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.”
— Acts 16:5
“I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.”
— 1 Corinthians 3:6
Church planting is the fruit of disciple-making, establishing local expressions of Christ’s body in every place.
4. Train Disciple-Leaders to Make Disciples and Leaders
Scriptural Basis:
“To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.”
— Ephesians 4:12
“Everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.”
— Luke 6:40
We are called not only to reach but to equip—to raise up mature believers who will lead, teach, and multiply.
5. That Everyone Will Believe and Be Living Stones in Christ’s Church
Scriptural Basis:
“You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood...”
— 1 Peter 2:5
“Consequently, you are... members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.”
— Ephesians 2:19–20
Every believer has a role in the construction of the spiritual house of God—the Church—where Christ is the foundation and head.
Conclusion
This vision reflects our obedience to Christ’s Great Commission. We seek not only to proclaim the Gospel but to multiply mature disciples, establish churches, and equip leaders who will continue the work until every believer becomes a living stone in the body of Jesus Christ - the Church of the Temple of God.
