In a world that constantly tells us to hold on tightly to control our plans, protect our comforts, and save our own ambitions Jesus offers a paradox that flips human logic upside down. True life isn't found in self-preservation; it is found in total surrender.

Reflection: The Paradox of Surrender
When we try to run our own lives, we often build on fragile foundations. Protecting our self-interests, pride, and earthly desires might feel safe, but Christ reminds us that clinging to the world ultimately leads to losing what matters most.
"Losing your life for His sake" doesn't mean life is over it means true life has finally begun. When we lay down our personal ambitions, fears, and self-reliance at the cross, God replaces them with His peace, eternal purpose, and divine fulfillment.
