Word from the Pastor: Walking in God’s Way

Have you ever made a choice to stand up for the truth, only to be met with pushback, criticism, or isolation? In a world that often values convenience over character, choosing to walk in God’s righteousness can feel incredibly lonely. Sometimes, it can even feel like a punishment.
But in the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus turns our human perspective completely upside down. He doesn’t say, "Sorry you have to go through that." He says, "Blessed are you."
Righteousness isn’t just about following a set of rules; it means walking in God’s own way. When you stand firm in love, integrity, and truth even when it costs you popularity or comfort you are mirroring the heart of Christ.
Persecution doesn’t mean God has abandoned you. In fact, Jesus promises that when you face trials for doing what is right, you are standing directly at the threshold of the Divine. The hardship you face today cannot compare to the inheritance waiting for you: the very Kingdom of Heaven.
If you are feeling weary from doing the right thing, take heart. Your loyalty to the truth has not gone unnoticed. May you stand firm in truth and remain faithful to Christ, knowing that your ultimate reward is secure in Him.
To God be all the glory!
