Scripture

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."— Revelation 3:20 (KJV)

In our daily lives, spiritual transformation and true peace begin with a simple, personal choice. In Revelation 3:20, Jesus presents a gentle image of divine love: He stands at the door of our hearts and knocks. Notice that He does not force the door open; He waits for us to recognize His voice and open it from the inside.

When we answer His call and invite Him in, three miraculous shifts occur in our lives:

1. Intimate Fellowship: Christ enters our daily routines to fellowship with us offering comfort in times of trouble, direction in times of confusion, and unconditional love.

2. Overcoming Life's Struggles: As promised in Revelation 3:21, those who open their hearts to Him are given the spiritual strength to overcome life's trials through His power.

3. Abundant Grace: Opening the door allows His light to illuminate every dark corner of our lives, filling our hearts with peace and spiritual clarity.

At Church of the Temple of God, we encourage you to take a quiet moment today to listen. Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart right now. Open your heart to Him, welcome His presence, and experience the fullness of His joy and peace.

Supporting Scripture

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne."— Revelation 3:20–21 (KJV)

A Daily Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for Your endless patience, love, and grace toward us. Lord Jesus, we hear You knocking at the door of our hearts today, and we willingly open the door to You. Come in, Lord, abide with us, and cleanse our spirits.

Grant us the strength to overcome life's obstacles and the faith to walk in Your light every day. Fill our lives with Your Holy Spirit so we may reflect Your love to everyone around us. We dedicate our hearts, our daily journeys, and our ministry at Church of the Temple of God into Your hands.

In Jesus' powerful and precious name, Amen.
