"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;"

Notice that the Bible doesn't say God might help us, or that He only shows up when conditions are perfect. He promises to be a "very present help" right in the midst of trouble. When mountains shake whether in our personal lives, our health, our finances, or global events our peace remains intact because our security rests in God, not in our circumstances.

Heavenly Father, You are my refuge and my solid rock when everything around me feels uncertain. I surrender my worries, my fears, and my plans for the future into Your loving hands today.
